The buttons are very obvious for any user because of their location and colour that differentiates from the body. The method of attaching and detaching the light is also very easy and requires little effort. The style of attachment is similar to some existing products so it won't be something a cyclist has never seen before.
P5. There are 2 main features of SensorPath that increases the safety of the user dramatically. The front light incorporates a ultrasonic sensor which will detect cars up to 10 metres ahead of the cyclist. Once it detects a car ahead, the front light will project brighter pulses of light to get the drivers attention in the mirrors. The reason for this is because majority of accidents happen in the drivers inside mirror as they sometimes don't see the cyclist coming. The rear light has a feature referring to the new Irish road regulations. Vehicles driving under 50Kmh have to overtake a cyclist with at least 1metre distance. Vehicles driving over 50Kmh have to overtake a cyclist with at least 1.5metre distance. The rear light projects laser lines either side of the cyclist to give guidance to the drivers what distance to overtake.
